Voter Guide for August 2022 Primary Elections is Now Available

08/12/2022

The NYC Campaign Finance Board today announced that the official New York City Voter Guide for the August 2022 primary elections is available online at NYCVotes.org. Voters can look up the candidates on their ballot for U.S. House of Representatives and State Senate. Early voting starts on Saturday, August 13, and Election Day is on Tuesday, August 23.

Voters can look up the candidates on their ballot by entering their home address in the lookup tool or by browsing the voter guide by district. Districts without competitive primary elections do not have candidate profiles in the Voter Guide.

In addition to the candidate lists, the Voter Guide provides tools for New Yorkers to learn more about the State Senate and other local offices, research their voter registration status, and get answers about their voting rights and eligibility. Voters can also access the poll site locator, which also shows which districts the voter lives in.

The Voter Guide is available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, and Bengali, and meets accessibility standards for users with disabilities.

The Voter Guide is part of the Campaign Finance Board's NYC Votes initiative to increase participation in New York City elections. The CFB creates an online voter guide for all NYC elections.

NYC Votes is the nonpartisan voter engagement initiative of the New York City Campaign Finance Board (CFB) and its Voter Assistance Advisory Committee (VAAC). In addition to promoting voter registration, participation, and civic engagement in New York City through its many programs and partnerships, NYC Votes sponsors the city’s official Debate Program and produces the citywide Voter Guide.
