2023 City Council Elections
The CFB Rules set strict deadlines for filings, statement review responses, and other information requested from campaigns. This information is reviewed by the CFB and used to identify reporting and compliance issues. Any information received after a deadline will not be considered until the next review period.
In order to ensure that late submissions are not considered, the submission of amendments in C-SMART will be disabled during certain periods. If you have any questions, contact your liaison directly.
- For pre-ballot payments, the deadline for submitting information is 15 business days before the payment. During the 15-day period between the deadline and the payment date, statement review responses and amendments will not be accepted.
- For payments with a four-day turnaround (the three payments within 45 days of the primary and the four payments within 90 days of the general), statement review responses and amendments will not be accepted between the filing deadline and the payment.
